Our Dojo is located in the city of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. We study and practice JKA Shotokan Karate, founded by Master Gichin Funakoshi. Sakura Karate members are members of CJKF (Canadian Japan Karate Federation), which is member of JKA (Japan Karate Association). The head instructor of Sakura Karate, Sensei Jiri, study art of karate under Canadian JKA Chief Instructor Our black belts are graded and certified by JKA Master Masahiko Tanaka and Minoru Saeki Sensei. Sakura Karate Dojo is member of KOA (Karate Ontario Association), that is members of WKF (World Karate Federation).
